Check Water Habitats
-Pack with subscription that outlines how to document rivers, streams and lakes. Determine the habitat, Check for rubbish and pollutants in the water. Video evidence check that it can be documented and reported.

Grey Water
- Use grey water for gardens, outside cleaning and toilet flushing
- campaign for new builds to collect grey water for flushing
-promote grey water capture through discounted waterbuts
Put details on all billings to save water and money
-Campaign for more information on peoples bills to show how to save water
-Check water meter for water leaks inside and outside the house
-Campaign for water butts that can be used to store water for watering and outside cleaning.
New builds have water saving feature build in
Push to have regulations that new builds should have a means to access grey water collected in water tanks in the roof via rain water which can be used to flush toilets which is around 30% of household use!
Chemical limits
-Lead / heavy metals - remove and monitor
-Pesticides - remove all where existing / monitor
-Hormones - remove all / determine side-effects
-Prescription drugs - remove all / determine side-effects
-Illegal drugs
-PFE
-microplastics
-EU PFE guidelines
-Ph levels
England and Wales have guidance (non-binding) on PFAS in water - a 'wholesomeness' guideline value of 0.1 ug/l for 47 PFAS is listed in the DWI's guidance to water companies. Overall, there are no statutory drinking water limits for PFAS in England and Wales. The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) has recently announced some changes to the guidance. This includes measuring 6:2 fluorotelomer sulfonamide alkylbetaine (FTAB) in addition to the 47 other PFAS from January 2025. Scotland adheres to the EU guidelines.
Monitor and investigate
Drug metabolites - legal and illegal
Hormones - oestrogen
Pesticides / fertilisers
PFE
-Water - investigate PFEs in humans
-habitats - are habitats destroyed
-wildlife -fish populations, plants habitats - check for levels
-rubbish - check and remove
pH testing - check rivers, lakes and tap water
Get Back our
-Check Habitats - remove pollution and get back habitats
We need to make sure that our water to not polluting the water, habitats and livestock.
-wildlife - monitor wildlife for poisoning
We need to keep our wildlife to make sure we keep our species and have places to visit for all tourists.
-fishing - get fishing levels back to 1970s levels
We need to maintain the 4millions fishers and the economies that rely on this activity.
-waterways - maintain, clean and promote for next generation
Maintain our waterways so that they can be used and enjoyed for the next generations.
-canals - maintain, invest and keep for trade and leisure
Maintain the economy of the canal community and for the next generations
-beaches - get back tourism and foreign tourism
Our beaches are a major draw for both local and foreign holidaymakers. We need to ensure that this is maintain by managed overflow management by ensuring correct reports, the pipes are the correct length and discharge happens when the tide is high.
-lakes - get back tourism and foreign tourism
-rivers - get back tourism and foreign tourism
-surfers - get back tourism and foreign tourism
FULL STOP
Reduce sewage large deposits and materials from overspill if not fully treating
Stop/Reduce massively
-force water companies to remove solids from the water if ejecting before treating
-overflow sewage on dry days should remove solids
-limit half sewage run-off on a rainy day by removing solids
In Solid Poop: E. coli is present in high quantities (10^7 to 10^8 CFU per gram) in human and animal feces. It is often concentrated in manure piles on farms.
In Runoff: E. coli enters the environment through runoff, such as rain washing manure from agricultural land, wildlife waste, or sewage spills into streams, lakes, and, subsequently, water supplies.
Flooding/Drought
Flooding
-Improve ‘sponge’ and soak away to limit flooding
-Sponge cities and soak aways as standard
-Take tech effects to limit the evaporation of resevoirs
-Untreated sewage should be minimised and when done solids need to be taken from the sewage to limit issues downstream.
- Drought
Make sure that water bucket that can harvest water at client sites are sold cheaply so that gardens, paths and cars can be cleaned using this grey water with little affect to the water table.
-Find methods to reduce the loss of water in lakes by reducing the sun’s condensation of water.
Investment to have a reservoir of water managed in the very large circular pipe.
Get pipe leaks fixed and report strange or inconsistent ‘meter’ readings and have a campaign on bills to test your meter every quarter period of the year.
Dredging
Make sure our lakes, rivers, waterways are regularly checked and dregged so that extra rainfall can be managed.
NHS and ‘dirty’ water
Get the government to carry out studies on contaminants in water and the impact on the NHS and insurance companies
Tourists
Force all seaside reporting agencies to report current and previous run-offs into the ocean on both rainy and dry days so that the public know the risks.
This will force local authorities and the government to report the frequency of skills and maybe tighten upon the number of skills.
Combating water scarcity by buffering water
To combat water scarcity, we need to retain water better. The Dutch water system is currently designed to drain water as quickly as possible. This needs to make way for a system that buffers the water that falls for as long as possible. This allows it to gradually seep into the ground and the groundwater system to recover.
We need to follow this example
